About the Author, Dolorosa Margulis:

Born in the province of North-Brabant in the southern Netherlands,
Dolorosa Rubens Margulis completed her art education at the University of Tilburg.
She shared an atelier with Dutch painter Hugo Brouwer in Vincent Van Gogh's village of Nuenen.

She lived and painted in Amman, Jordan and Bogor Java in Indonesia.
The late King Hussein of Jordan owned some of her paintings, as well as other notable dignitaries.

She now resides in Oregon and divides her time between a ranch in Washington
and an ancient farm near Bordeaux in France.
